Kudos to Competition Alums

Allan Baker’s play Eskandar, which was a finalist in the foundation’s 2014 playwriting competition, has been selected for the Texas Playwright’s Festival at Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston at the end of July. And playwright A. Rey Pamatmat, who won an honorable mention in the 2014 competition for his play Pure, recently had two plays mounted at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts: After All the Terrible Things I Do and Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them.

The foundation extends congratulations to both writers.
